Health Council of CANADA

Established in 2003 by Canada’s First Ministers with a mandate to report on the progress of health care renewal, health status and health outcomes in Canada, the Health Council of Canada lacked a clear articulation of its mandate and strategic vision.

SOS was asked to develop a refreshed brand identity that reflected their unique mission and character, help define their brand position, build an integrated system of branded collateral, and, crucially, build a resource-intensive database driven website (an ‘Innovation Hub’) that housed all their thought leadership including research on current health care innovation and best practices (brochures, videos, podcasts, webinars).

With a revitalized brand supporting their position as the leading voice within the health care sector, the Health Council of Canada saw increased visibility of its work both nationally and internationally with website traffic increasing by over 40% in the first year.
