Health Council of CANADA

Established in 2003 by Canada’s First Ministers with a mandate to report on the progress of health-care renewal, health status and health outcomes in Canada, the Health Council of Canada lacked a clear articulation of its mandate and strategic vision.

SOS was asked to develop a refreshed brand identity that reflected their unique mission and character, help define their brand position, build an integrated system of branded collateral, and, crucially, build a resource-intensive database driven website (an ‘Innovation Hub’) that housed all their thought leadership including research on current health-care innovation and best practices (brochures, videos, podcasts, webinars).

With a revitalized brand supporting their position as the leading voice within the health-care sector, the Health Council of Canada saw increased visibility of its work both nationally and internationally with website traffic increasing by over 40% in the first year.
